Happiest are the eyes when shut

Who are blind to their blindness are not blind

Even darkness holds light for them

Loss of sight is not the end of sight for them

They can ‘see’ through mind’s eye

They can feel light rising, spreading, resting

They can see sound turning into light

They have visual imagination

They can see what they want to see

They aren’t afraid of wounds and blows

Their light fades when they are afraid

Don't isolate them

They are afraid of isolation

For them visibility can be as blinding as invisibility is
