Why we don’t accept some defeats

We find some defeats difficult to swallow

Knowing fully, we lost, it is difficult to accept, they won

No, our decisions are not faulty, they are biased

We don’t want to surrender to all

We find it hard to seal the puncture of pride

When the holes are made by the well-known spikes

Not a few ‘no balls’, ‘wides’, and toss

It is the ‘whole’ that is liable for the loss

Those who lost, had lost, even before the game begun

Those who won, had nothing to lose, that’s why they won

We are biased. We don’t want to accept some defeats

When winning and losing will loose its meaning

When we are not biased, we know, our days are over

We are becoming philosophers
