Happiness has no logic, follows no rule, and is contagious
Expecting perfection in all situations makes one definitely unhappy
It wants to believe that bliss will persist, but that doesn’t happen
One is not designed to achieve lasting happiness
And so one can’t be happy all the time
Its appearance is uncertain, disappearance unpredictable
Works best in an illusionary mind that has no expectation
And understands that satisfaction is not
Always a function of design and economics
Diminishing your preoccupation with yourself
To achieve happiness, and deliberate less on
Your sins, follies, and shortcomings, the wise suggest
And always remember
There is an age to watch cholesterol, and an age to ignore it
