I saw the full moon coming out in the still sky

It was a calm night; the sky was clear

Clouds soon came out, floating

To splay colour on the dreamy sky

The gardens were so full of flowers

Birds were flying in a shifting horizon, like a poem

The moon looked like a portrait

On a canvas, with changing interpretations

I found the moon so light and fragile, like a speck

Suspended in the boundless sky

It looked like a torch, as if to illuminate the spirit of the sky

It moved up, above the dark, at the call of the dawn

I saw a cosmic hall, touched by warmth, and filled with light

I saw in the dead of winter, a sparrow coming inside

It darts joyfully in the gleam of light

It disappears, as it appeared, beyond the familiar

No one knows where.
