from the safety of darkness

She meets a car’s headlight,

and gets trapped in it.

There is no place to hide.

Fear of facing the unknown develops in her.

Develops tendency to bounce back to the safety of darkness.

There is fear of leaving the known,

and facing the unknown.

Headlights, often, paralyse.

Visibility often blinds.
