The journey continues ....

I am still Knowing the Known.

Much of what I write is an attempt to understand me.

Few of my books include:

Knowing the Known (2008)

The collection of essays explores the author as an explorer of the depths of his self and as an interpreter of the fabric of his experiences.

Ethics of the Chair (2015)

The book highlights the truths that have guided the author in his professional journey. It includes: Don’t always approach science with the lens of a money lender, and respect the chair you occupy.

School of Upna Life (2019)

In the nostalgic frame of mind, the author captured the snap-shots of memory. The varied experiences that he gathered have given him another dimension to his professional career.

Algorithms of life (2020)

When nothing works hope works. Hope works when the mind works. The mind works when a neural network works. The mind doesn’t allow hopes to die.

Engineering of life and life technologies (2017)

The book is about the implications of biological engineering in the making of a better world.

Engineering vision technology revolution and optimism (2021)

The center of gravity of the engineering profession is shifting and the world wants confident engineers who can foresee and manage unknown and unexpected problems. Are we cultivating the right kind of engineering mindset? Are there enough challenging jobs in the manufacturing industry to attract good engineers? Is it right to allow the creation of future elites who have augmented themselves with artificial intelligence and genetic engineering, without inventing a way to manage their superhuman abilities?

Cinematic reflections: Personal thoughts of a dormant filmmaker (2024)

The book captures author’s reflections, blending scientific curiosity with artistic appreciation.

Neural Suitcase ((2025)

Mind is a living network. The book talks about different kind of minds: a mother’s mind, a teacher’s mind, a chaotic mind, a teenager’s mind, a mind without fear, God a construct of mind etc.

Chalk and duster tales (2025)

Every story, at its heart, is a story of evolution, a journey of growth, transformation, and adaptation. Every tale begins with a desire: to overcome, to discover, to create something more.

In the world of algorithms and aspirations (2025)

The interconnectedness of Science, Engineering, Art, and Technology plays a pivotal role in shaping and enriching society. This holistic mindset aligns our inner selves with the outer world. Inner transformation and a sense of responsibility are crucial for navigating the moral landscape of technological evolution.

Praudyogiki aur buddhimatta ke samrajya mein adarsh ki parikalpana (2025)

Du Poysar Icche (2018), Golpokotha Aar Shobder Khela (2019), Smritir Bosonto (2025) are collection of verses in Bengali

The First Sixty Minutes

The first sixty minutes after waking are important for my day. This unguarded hour is important for me. In this hour, the mind has not begun to defend itself, justify itself, or perform for the world.
